How to Install AcroFlo
Installing your AcroFlo is really simple but I encourage you to both read these instructions and watch the video below to stop you gluing your fingers to your drone :-)
Included in your order you’ll find your four AcroFlo bumpers and some 3M 300LSE double sided adhesive. There are two strips for Avata 2 and 1 strip for Neo (This gives you twice as much as needed!)
The best way to cut the strips of adhesive is into small squares/rectangles.
For the Avata 2 I recommend three squares on either side and four in the middle. For the Neo five squares on each front bumper and on the rear two larger on the wider area with three smaller on the thinner area. See the pictures below showing how I have found it best to position the adhesive.
This adhesive is extremely thin to allow the AcroFlo to fit as tightly to the prop guards as possible, it does make it a little tricky to peel the backing though, a sharp blade is best to pick the corner of the backing paper/film to get it started peeling. Then stick the piece to the blade, peel off one side of backing and apply to the bumper before pressing on it firmly.
IMPORTANT: Apply the adhesive to the AcroFlo first and allow the adhesive to bond for several hours before installing on the prop guards.
When ready to attach the bumpers again use a blade or sharp point to peel the backing before positioning and pressing firmly. Again allow several hours for a firm bond to be created before flying.
Remember there is plenty of adhesive provided and that it removes easily in future.

Note that with the Avata2 AcroFlow I now recommend squares to the left and right rather that the strips shown as it is easier to position them.
